Second Life Round 2

Here's my second post about my time on Second Life.

So as can be seen from the screen shots, I spent most of my time typing my interests into the search bar for places, and then if there was an island that existed on Second Life that featured one of my hobbies I would go right there. I found Gibson Island (a famous Guitar maker) and found nearly 100 of different Gibson-model guitars that I could put in my inventory for free and play when I wanted. I also managed to get a bag from the island, which incidently had buildings that look like a giant guitar.

That was probably my favorite experience so far from Second Life. I also got out to the islands (crayonville, coke's "refresh" zone) and picked up some more free stuff there. I got a couple snapshots of me dancing, playing piano and guitar, and flying. Also some of these buildings that I never thought I would see.

Overall my experience was a lot more favorable this second time around. I saw the capabilities of Second Life for budding marketing companies, as well as fully-established businesses that are simply trying to delve into the online-gamer market.

My only complaint this time around (and it may just be my computer) but I can only get logged on to Second Life for short periods of time before it gets bogged down with users and becomes too choppy/laggy to tolerate. I'd probably explore for longer if this didn't happen.

Dante out.
